GATORS Swim & Dive

Welcome to GATORS COUNTRY!

If you have any questions or would like more information, please email sunnywillowswimteam@gmail.com.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE: Our practice schedules will be changing a little bit this year. Also, please note that athletes might be moved as coaches feel appropriate for their skill level. This is done to accommodate our increasing team size, as well as enable our coaches to spend more time focusing on the needs of the various groups. Times listed are the time that swimmers are to be in the pool, not arrival times. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of every practice to allow for goggles & caps on, etc. We appreciate your support with this request! Coach Chris requests that swim team members attend practice a minimum of 3 days per week, but would like to see daily attendance if possible.

Sunny Willow GATORS: A great way to meet new friends, have fun, and strengthen your swimming & diving skills! The Sunny Willow Swim & Dive Team welcomes club members age 5 to recent high school graduates. Swimming requirements for team members 12 & under are that each member has passed the club swimming test, which demonstrates the ability to swim 2 lengths of the pool without stopping (one of which is freestyle or crawl) and tread water for 30 seconds. For less advanced swimmers we offer the pre-team or “Lil Gators”. These team members must also pass the club swim test, but will have a greater coach to swimmer ratio, with focus on beginner level competitive swimming skills.
