GATORS Swim & Dive

Welcome to GATORS COUNTRY!

Sunny Willow GATORS: A great way to meet new friends, have fun, and strengthen your swimming & diving skills! The Sunny Willow Swim & Dive Team welcomes club members age 5 to recent high school graduates. Swimming requirements for team members 12 & under are that each member has passed the club swimming test, which demonstrates the ability to swim 2 lengths of the pool without stopping (one of which is freestyle or crawl) and tread water for 30 seconds. For less advanced swimmers we offer the pre-team or “Lil Gators”. These team members must also pass the club swim test, but will have a greater coach to swimmer ratio, with focus on beginner level competitive swimming skills.

The mission of the Sunny Willow Swim and Dive Team is to provide an opportunity for team members to participate in a safe, healthy, fun and competitive summer swimming experience. Our goal is to improve skill and understanding in the sport of competitive swimming and diving, develop camaraderie and friendship with team members, learn sportsmanship, and most importantly, to have fun!

The Sunny Willow GATORS compete in the Colonial Swim League. There are 7 teams in the Colonial League, including Ft. Washington Swim Club, Maple Manor, Manorlu, Hideaway, Maplewood, and Upper Moreland. The 2017 meet schedule is posted on the swim meets tab.
